DESIGN
PRINCIPLE
The
MSP Series pumps are Single Impeller Pumps. The impeller
is mounted on the extended motor shaft and it transmits a radial motion
to the water from the centre outwards with a minimum of hydraulic loss
converting kinetic energy to pressure energy and delivers the water
through the volute.

APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION
high discharge pumps come in a wide and well diversified range of
characteristic curves for the different models. Models are distributed
in a rational and planned manner making it easy to select the model
most suited to each specific user requirement. These together with high
performance and efficiency leads to considerable savings in operating
costs as these are powerful machines often intended for continuous duty.
These series of pumps are characterised by highly stable, broad characteristic
curves. Performance is characterised by high absolute values over the
majority of curves. Flat absorption curves at high delivery rates prevent
motor overloading even during prolonged use. All pumps have good suction
capacities at both high and low delivery rates.
MSP Series of pumps are characterised as 'High Discharge
and Low Head' and are suitable for pumping clean & clear water not
containing abrasive particles, aggressive to the pump components. These
pumps are suitable for suction lifts upto 8 m depth.
Common applications are marginal farming / orchards / residential buildings
/ bunglows / hotels / hospitals / clubs / lawn sprinklers / car-washing
/ boosting water supply for high pressure pumping application / water
circulation. These pumps are easy to install with pipe connections to
the suction and delivery openings. The pumps must preferably be installed
in a horizontal position in a covered area protected against weather.
